Becky's thoughts on therapy

To be safe, seen, accepted, and heard are essential needs to human flourishing. The sacred space of therapy can provide a place for individuals and families to explore the possibilities of a beautiful life where we can learn healthy ways to cope, advocate for ourselves, use our strengths for healing, mourn some of our life experiences, gain insight into themes of our relationships and experiences, and learn to integrate the mixture of grief, ache, and joy that life throws our way. As a clinician and one that experientially knows what it is like to be in therapy, I have experienced the freedom in sharing my story with empathetic hearts. I desire to offer an empathetic heart, a supporting clinical lens, and offer a non-judgmental and safe space to make therapy the sacred space where you give yourself permission to share your story, permission to feel and embrace your humanity in all its complex layers, and to empower you to freely live a beautiful life.

About Becky

As a mental health therapist, I love being invited into the sacred stories of the people I see. I enjoy utilizing people's strengths and empowering them not just to live, but to thrive in their lives and relationships. Through the process of healing, and insight building, I enjoy witnessing people embrace hope, grace, validation, and learn healthy ways to cope. My areas of expertise include working with children, adolescents, young adults, women, athletes, the Spanish speaking community, and addressing themes and needs relating to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, cultural stressors, first generation issues, and college stressors. My therapy style is overall eclectic and strength based. I bring my personality into the room and approach treatment based on the unique needs of each client. I incorporate narrative, experiential, CBT, and attachment methods in my practice.
