Behavioral Interventions for Insomnia

Behavioral Interventions for Insomnia

It’s been an hour now and you’re still wide awake in bed. Each time you toss and turn you’re hoping that each new position will be that comfortable position where you’ll finally be able to fall asleep. Maybe it’s loud outside? Maybe it’s not dark enough in the room? The ‘Maybe’s’ then turn into ‘What Ifs.’ What if I don’t sleep at all? What if I can’t get through my day tomorrow? Then you start to worry and become more anxious. Time passes and when you look at your phone by the bed, it’s been two hours. Terror strikes.
