How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Sensible Care account and associated data, please follow these steps:
- Email us at: contact@sensiblecare.com
- Include in your email:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- Phone number (if applicable)
- Alternative contact method: Call us at +1 (800) 801-9833 during business hours (Mon - Fri: 8am - 6pm PT / 11am - 9pm ET)
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:
- Your account profile information (name, email, phone number)
- App preferences and settings
- Appointment scheduling history
- Communication preferences
- App usage data
What Data Will Be Retained
Due to legal, regulatory, and business requirements, the following data may be retained:
- Medical records and clinical notes: Retained in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state law requirements (typically 7-10 years)
- Billing and payment records: Retained for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years)
- Insurance claims information: Retained as required by insurance regulations
- Legal and compliance records: Retained as required by applicable laws
Processing Time
We will process your account deletion request within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
Please note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to all app features and any saved information. If you wish to use Sensible Care services in the future, you will need to create a new account.
